Classic Ragtime Guitar

Book/3-CD set. This set of lessons for the intermediate/advanced guitarist teaches four ever-popular rags with three different teachers, each with his own approach. LESSON ONE: The classic rag that started the “ragtime revival” was The “Entertainer,” a lyrical four part rag written by Scott Joplin. Taught by Stefan Grossman. LESSON TWO: One of Joplin’s most popular classic rags was “Maple Leaf Rag.” Baker teaches his arrangement to this highly syncopated and energetic classic rag.
