Yamaha YFL-472 H Flute with B Foot & Offset G

Yamaha YFL 472 Hflute withB-foot, open keys,e-mechanismandoffset-G configurationis an upper mid-range flute by Yamaha.

Yamaha 400 Series flutes feature a head joint, body and foot joint completely made of sterling silver (92.5% Sterling). This makes for a rich, warm tone with enhanced projection compared to lower series.

Yamahaintermediate model flutes share similar designswithYamaha’sProfessional series and incorporate many of the same features, yet are available at a lower cost due to innovative manufacturing techniques. They offer surprisingly high quality for their price.

The 472H comes with a B-foot. The B-footjoint is longer and has an additional key, which adds one note, the low B, to the range of the flute. The extra length of the flute gives it darker tone and offers a higher resistance in the upper registers. Also, the flute has a little more weight than the YFL 472 with C-foot.
