You can use the stereo headphone output jack and on-screen level meters to monitor your sound, and the Q8n Control app for iOS allows you to monitor your levels remotely as start and stop recording as well. You can even capture every instrument and voice of band performances by running the main outputs of a mixing board right to your Q8n-4K.
The Q8n-4K is designed for creators to showcase their best sound and look. The Zoom X/Y mic capsule and two XLR inputs capture up to four tracks of simultaneous, crystal-clear audio. And with the F2.8/150 degree wide-angle lens, five field of view (FOV) settings, and brightness adjustments, the Q8n-4K produced vivid 4K UHD video quality at every shoot. You can choose the right power source for your shoot environment by using the camera’s rechargeable Li-ion battery, charge via USB, or with an optional AC adapter, all while recording to a mini-SD card up to 512GB.
